Cheddar Flow is a service that basically allows option traders to keep tabs on money flow.
They started operating as a small business in 2018 but hit their stride in 2019 introducing more features and services for their clientele.

Cheddar Flow’s main objective is to make options money flow more accessible and easier to understand for everyone, especially for newbie traders.

In this Cheddar Flow vs Blackboxstocks Comparison, we will break down everything you need to know about these tools: features, pricing and more.
Let’s start with Cheddar Flow.
Cheddar Flow Features
Just like most trading tools, Cheddar Flow boasts proprietary features to entice traders to subscribe to their service.
Below are some of the notable features that Cheddar Flow has to offer.
It is worth mentioning that most of the features inside Cheddar Flow coincidentally match their older competition Flow Algo.
As depicted in this video review titled Cheddar Flow vs. Flow Algo.
Smart Tracking System
Cheddar Flow has the capacity to identify and curate trades based on unique options order flow specifications.
This Smart Tracking System can identify repeat call activity with ticker symbols which indicate fast moving, consecutive call orders flooding into a particular name.
The tracking system can also identify highly unusual orders and unusual order flow, both which can be urgent matters from the trader’s perspective.
Dark Pool Prints
Cheddar Flow also allows traders to uncover hidden markets and private deals within the tracking tool.
Traders know that these “shadow” exchanges are private and not accessible to the general public.
Today, in fact, about 40% of all trading transactions happen inside the dark pool.
One of the features of Cheddar Flow is that it scans hundreds of thousands of these trades each day.
The tool identifies prints that are most important and brings them directly to you.
Watchlist And Alerts
Cheddar flow also designed its tool so that users can monitor trade stocks and options while following only what’s important.
One of their highlighted features is their AI Power Alerts, which comes with a smart strength indicator that looks at multiple datasets to signal a potential trade idea.
The tool also offers a watchlist that will help you stay focused by only delivering the order flow that’s on your list.
This feature can also keep you up to date with real-time stock quotes.
Aside from watchlists, the tool also offers desktop notifications and is even working on offering SMS notifications in the near future.
Of course, BlackBox Stocks is not going to let Cheddar Flow get all the hype.
The service prides itself as being distinctly different than any other trading system on the market.
As mentioned on their website, their system automatically posts symbols alerting users to explosive opportunities in the market in real time.
Below are some of the BlackBox Stock features that you need to know:
Stock And Options Scanner
The main offering of the Blackboxstocks tool is the screening technology for the best daily trade ideas and opportunities.
This options scanner constantly scans the markets multiple times per second, analyzing more than 8,000 stocks and approximately 900,000 options contracts.
There are also integrated scanners for both stocks and options, and the tool even gives you the ability to personalize the scan results using customizable filters.
Rapid Alert System
BlackBoxStocks also offers a rapid alert system that keeps you continuously updated with new and arising trading opportunities.
The default alerts are for the day’s top 10 gainers, but on top of that, the tool also instantly notifies you when the criteria is met for Volume Active Alert, Price Spike Alert, Retracement Alert, Rapid Decline Alert and Usual Suspect Alert.
This feature includes an audio and visual alert functionality that can be enabled or disabled with a switch, and sortable by time, volatility, and % change.
Also integral to the dashboard of BlackBox Stocks is a charting panel that automatically loads charts whenever you click on a particular ticker.
Aside from the visually-appealing charts created by the tool, there are also a large number of indicators, markup tools, time frames, and customization options.
This chart feature is a really useful add-on that makes it easy to perform your own technical analysis whenever you’re notified about new trading ideas.
Live Audio Broadcasting
One of the most unique features of BlackBox Stocks is the tool’s live audio broadcasting.
When enabled, it gives you the functionality to listen to live market commentary from moderators.
This is a feature that is especially helpful for new traders as the mods provide explanation on what trades they’re looking at and other essential information about them.
Features And Price Comparison
Right out the gate, the most glaring difference between the two services is the number of useful features.
However, quantity doesn’t necessarily mean quality when talking about tools; what matters is whether those features are actually useful.
Pricing is also a factor.
For its Standard Plan, Cheddar Flow is priced at $68 for the first 2 months and $85 starting in the third month. This offer also includes a 7-day free trial.
The Professional Plan is priced at $79 for the first 2 months and $99 starting in the third month. There is a 7-day free trial for the Professional Plan.
Meanwhile, BlackBox Stocks is priced at $99.97 per month with a yearly option priced at $959.
Cheddar Flow vs Blackboxstocks: Long Story Short
It’s safe to assume that traders may be hesitant to test the BlackBox Stocks at $99.97, especially when it doesn’t offer a free trial (at least not on their website).
If you’re more interested in the volume of features, BlackBox Stocks is definitely worth a shot, especially if you are actively involved in the market.
On the other hand, Cheddar Flow is a more stripped-down, easy-to-use tool that doesn’t offer a lot of features but can provide you the basic information and you can try out for free.

Ease of Use
Have not subcribed to BlackBox but i am ready to push the Button…Watched many YouTube videos regarding both Platforms mentioned above…BlackBox certainly is geared toward the more professional trader…BlackBox’s Founder says that they are located in New York near the Exchanges…This helps to alert you faster, as we all know time is important…More importantly is their charting too. BlackBox allows you to chart Dark Pool Activity( something like Volume Profile)…As we all know by now that almost 40% of all trades are thru Dark Pools…Their News is thru FlyOnTheWall…the list goes on…Although BlackBox’s Stock Scanning ability is not comparable to Trading Ideas (good for Day Traders), your Broker Platform should compliment BlackBox…Needless to say, I have done my Homework for months now, and BlackBox will certainly give you an edge.
Thank you for sharing Anthony.
